Well, we didn't get the blizzard that hit Chicago but the snowstorm was enough to keep Jeff home from work and give Lucas county a level three (only emergency vehicles on the road). Most everything was closed so we found our own fun for the day...
After declaring the snow day a 'pajama day', we set to work by decorating the door with Valentine Day hearts. We figured that the dogs would appreciate the decorations while they go in and out the back door. We'll be pulling out more decorations post naptime.
Elise's bangs have been getting in her eyes, so it was time for the first haircut. Well, at least 'bangs' cut. Afterall, we've waited two years for her hair to grow so we won't be cutting anything off unnecessarily!
I had the first go with the trimming. By the looks of things, I should be sent off to haircutting school! Daddy had to step in and even things out in the end! I'd like to blame my poor job on my client but she sat really still so that wasn't the case. Guess it was just me!
Here's Daddy fixing up the new hairdo. If he didn't straighten it out, we were afraid Elise would walk at an angle- like her hair.
In the end, the client was happy and gave her new 'pixie' hairdo a thumbs up.
